The family of Brenda Elaine MacLean are saddened to announce her passing at St. Joseph’s Carmel Hospice, Medicine Hat, on January 17, 2024.
A Maritime girl at heart, Brenda was born on October 19, 1955 in Halifax, N.S.. to Frank and Anne MacLean.
Brenda was predeceased by her dear daughter Jennifer Schaus, her parents Frank and Anne MacLean, step-father Alan Nelson, and nephew Andrew Eisener.
She is survived by her son Jeremy Schaus of Embrun, ON, and sisters Pat (Ron) Fox and Joan (Bob) Cruickshank.
Brenda was also cherished “Auntie B.” to nieces Heather Cooper and Chera Cruickshank, and nephews Tim Fox, Corey Fox, Dave Cruickshank.
Brenda was a former member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Dartmouth, N.S., and Riverside Presbyterian Church, Medicine Hat, and a member of the Choir there.
At St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Medicine Hat, Brenda was very active in the Women of the Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Presbyterian Church on January 26th. at 11:00 a.m., led by the Rev. Jeff Lackie.
